Case Study 3

Problem:
-
The gum line is uneven.
-
Due to crowding some teeth are located too far forward and some too far back creating a crooked appearance and a protruding upper lip.
-
The bottom edges of the teeth are not aligned and do not follow the natural curvature of the lower lip.
Solution:
- A diagnostic cosmetic waxup is fabricated to allow visualisation of the final result before treatment is initiated.
- Periodental cosmetic surgery is completed to create an even gum line.
- Provisional veneers and crowns fabricated from the diagnostic waxup are placed to simulate the final result and to allow any final modifications to be made.
- Porcelain laminate veneers and all-porcelain crowns are placed, creating a natural and beautiful smile.
